How care is organized — five steps, one consultant

Every new referral follows the same consultant-led flow, designed for continuity rather than one-off reassurance:

1. Initial Consultation (45–60m): Comprehensive history, detailed neurological and cognitive screening (MoCA/MMSE where indicated), prior report review, and diagnostic planning.
2. Targeted Investigations: Brain MRI/CT, EEG, nerve conduction studies (NCS/EMG), CSF analysis or neuropsychology — ordered only when indicated by presentation.
3. Diagnosis & Plan: Clear explanation of diagnosis, prognosis and options including medicines, therapies, lifestyle measures and referral coordination.
4. Treatment & Follow-up: Medication stewardship, cognitive rehabilitation, vestibular/physical therapy as needed, and regular reassessment.
5. Long-term Management: Monitoring for chronic conditions, medication adjustment, cognitive re-screening, family education and caregiver support.

Investigations are discussed transparently — benefits, limitations, and alternatives — and ordered only when the presentation warrants them.
