GBS following vaccination is rare (approximately 1–2 per million doses). The risk from the infection itself (especially Campylobacter jejuni) is generally higher than from the vaccine.
Most patients recover significantly with immunotherapy and rehabilitation, though recovery may take weeks to months. The degree of recovery varies — early treatment improves outcomes.
