How cluster headache presents
Brief but severe attacks (15-180 minutes) around the eye or temple, with tearing, nasal congestion, and restlessness. Attacks occur in clusters separated by pain-free periods.
- Severe unilateral orbital or temporal pain
- Tearing and nasal congestion on same side
- Multiple attacks per day during cluster period
